- - Improve your ability to work with Ardour on a Netbook by utilizing the font scaling option. Within Ardour, click Window - Preferences - Misc. In this screen you can drag the selector for font scaling to the left and you will notice that everything shrinks - the font size and the boxes and windows and everything scale with it. Close out of that and you can also maximize screen real estate by removing some of the markers just above your master track. Right click in there and you can de-select some of the items such as CD Markers etc. Finally, if you know your Ardour keyboard shortcuts, you can press F11 to maximize the tracks workspace making it easier to work with all your tracks on a small screen.
